The year of fighting games continues to impress with huge releases like Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1‚ Tekken 8 looking more promising with each character reveal trailer‚ and even nontraditional fighters like Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and Rivals Of Aether’s sequels looking to carve out a place for themselves on the scene. Now Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is on the horizon. Its second beta has just concluded (the first one being held in late July)‚ and it left quite an impression on me. It’s a huge improvement upon the first. There's a lot that other fighting game developers could learn here.
