News Godzilla Minus Zero New Godzilla Minus Zero Trailer Shows [REDACTED] This isn’t Godzilla we’re talking about… By Vanessa Armstrong | Published on November 5, 2026 Comment 0 Share New Share It’s not even an ostensible secret anymore who the new threat is in Godzilla Minus Zero. A previous trailer has teased his voice! But if you want to go into the movie cold, click away now. Otherwise… …the trailer released today gives us Ghidorah in all his glory! Here’s an image from the trailer, if you don’t want to wait: Courtesy of TOHO He looks so cute! While Godzilla Minus Zero features both Ghidorah and Godzilla (Godzilla lives!), writer-director Takashi Yamazaki has said he doesn’t view the film as a monster versus monster movie. He explained that the monsters’ size makes them feel disconnected from the human characters, and he wanted the two to be closely intertwined. (That doesn’t mean, however, that the monsters won’t come face to faces with each other, but to say more will be saying too much.) That human connection comes through in today’s one-minute trailer. The bulk of it centers on the Shikishima family; how they’re afraid not only of the monsters, but of making sure those they love stay safe and/or come back alive from trying to protect those they care about. It’s all about family! (And if anything happens to Akiko I’m going to be very upset.) You can see relatable human struggles in the face of kaiju threats right now: Godzilla Minus Zero is now playing in theaters. Check out the trailer below if you need more enticement to go.
