Here are some ideas. Add a 12-ounce bag of frozen mixed veggies to sneak in some more veggies. Or you could sauté some bell peppers with the onion and ground beef. What else can I garnish with? I went with pickles and tomatoes since those are standard burger toppings. You could try a drizzle of bbq sauce on top or even a bit of shredded lettuce and some chopped red onion. Can I use different cheese varieties? Sure thing. You can swap out the shredded cheddar cheese for other options like Velveeta‚ pepper jack‚ or Monterey jack. You can even combine a few options. What to serve with Bacon Cheeseburger Bubble Up? Steamed vegetables or a side salad would go nicely with this dish. You can also go big and serve it with some french fries‚ the perfect cheeseburger sidekick. Sure‚ it’s a lot of carbs‚ but I’m not judging! Generally in the same region as the cream of chicken soup‚ etc. ketchup and yellow mustard – if ketchup or mustard isn’t your thing‚ feel free to omit either of them. These cheese is a big star in the show so I thought freshly shredded would taste best but you can certainly just pick up an 8 ounce package of pre-shredded cheese. chopped pickles and chopped tomatoes – you do not have to garnish with these.
