KISS Scale Empire State Building
To recognize KISS’ final live shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on December 1st and 2nd‚ there was a music-to-light show on the Empire State Building (on 11/30) featuring iconic band photos taken on the building’s 86th-floor observation deck almost 50 years ago.
The ceremonial display illuminated the building from dusk until 2 a.m. ET with the music to light show set to band’s ’75 hit “Rock And Roll All Nite.”
KISS was founded in NYC in ’73 by Paul Stanley (vocals‚ rhythm guitar)‚ Gene Simmons (vocals‚ bass)‚ Ace Frehley (lead guitar‚ vocals)‚ and Peter Criss (drums‚ vocals). Frehley and Criss are no longer with the band. Tommy Thayer (lead guitar) and Eric Singer (drums) replaced them.
