If a majority of Americans can agree that something needs to be ended‚ it’s a good indicator that it’s the right thing to do. Americans of every race are apparently in agreement that it’s time for Affirmative Action to end according to a new Gallop poll. The poll comes after a Supreme Court decision to remove affirmative action initiatives within colleges. 68% of all Americans polled feel it was the right call. Additionally‚ a majority of black Americans are in agreement. 52% of African-Americans polled said they want to see the initiative ended as well.
