MusiCares Person Of The Year benefit gala honoring Bon Jovi founder‚ namesake and frontman Jon Bon Jovi (pictured center with the band) will be held February 2nd‚ two days before the Grammy Awards telecast‚ at the Los Angeles Convention Center.   Bon Jovi (the band)‚ Bruce Springsteen and Melissa Etheridge will perform at the 33rd annual benefit gala with proceeds going to provide essential support for MusiCares outreach programs. Since ’06‚ the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation (formerly the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation) has worked to break the cycle of hunger‚ poverty and homelessness by developing partnerships‚ creating programs and providing grant funding to support innovative community organizations.
