Asus has just announced a new gaming mic‚ the ROG Carnyx‚ which while on the surface appears to be just a very RGB-filled and angular alternative to more established options‚ actually includes several notable features. The new Asus option vying for a place on our best gaming mic guide includes a 25mm condenser capsule - the bit that actually captures the sound‚ which is quite bit larger than the typical 14-17mm size used by the likes of the Logitech G Yeti X and Elgato Wave 3‚ although the recently announced Xtrfy NGale X also has a 25mm capsule.
