That threat is now being sent out by the internet giant Google to thousands of publishers who use their advertising platform, which is the dominant one in the market.

According to a statement from the "Google Ad Manager team" received by Fria Tider and other media, the internet giant will turn off advertising revenues for media that report, among other things, on how Ukraine "deliberately attacks its own citizens".
The media is also not allowed to publish opinion content that defends the war.
Any content that "exploits, dismisses or advocates for the war" leads to the newspaper's revenue being removed by Google.
"Do the right thing"
Google was founded in 1998 by the American radar couple Larry Page and Sergey Brin. The founders realized that the company had gained a lot of power and adopted the motto "Do not be evil" as the company's most important internal policy.
In 2015, "Don't be evil" was abolished by the new company management, which instead introduced the left-wing "Do the right thing" as the overriding motto. The IT giant has since focused on getting people to think and think right around the world, often by stifling political conversation, countering freedom of expression and withdrawing revenue for publishers who question the international left.
