“What we wanted to accomplish with this record was make something that was fun‚” drummer Patrick Carney said in a statement.
“We’d never worked harder to make a record‚” guitarist/vocalist Dan Auerbach added. “We took our time and did it right.
The lead single was “Beautiful People (Stay High).”

Vampire Weekend’s fifth album‚ but first album since 2019‚ has the tracks “Gen-X Cops‚” “Capricorn” and “Classical.”
The group’s Ezra Koenig‚ who wrote the lyrics in ‘19 and ‘20‚ produced the album.
Pearl Jam: Dark Matter:

The album‚ produced by Andrew Watt‚ contains the title track (which topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart) and “Running. “There’s the melody and energy of the first couple of records‚” explained PJ guitarist Mike McCready. “Andrew pushed us to play as hard and melodic and thoughtful as we’ve done in a long time.”
