Missing Alabama Man recovered
"COOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — An Alabama man who was reported missing was found dead Wednesday from an apparent crash, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA officials said 30-year-old Tilon Debardelabon and his pickup truck were last seen on April 30, which led to the missing report being made. Debardelabon's family told Channel 3 on May 4 that he planned to visit a friend in Pensacola.
Authorities said Debardelabon was fatally injured on April 30 when his truck veered off the roadway, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree, causing the vehicle to overturn.
ALEA says the crash happened around 4:30 a.m. along U.S. 280 east near the 63.6 mile marker -- about three miles east of Alexander City, in Coosa County.
"The crash location was not discovered until Wednesday, May 11, because of where it occurred," ALEA says in a release.
ALEA officials said Debardelabon was not using a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle."
