When the first iPhone 16 rumors began spreading last year‚ mentioning a potential size increase for the Pro models‚ I wasn't too thrilled about the prospect. Rumors said the iPhone 16 Pro would feature a 6.3-inch display‚ and the iPhone 16 Pro Max would get a similar 0.2-inch bump to 6.9 inches. The reason for this was the iPhone 16 Pro's rear camera module. Apple planned to bring the iPhone 15 Pro Max's tetraprism zoom lens to the smaller iPhone 16 Pro. That component needs more internal space‚ hence the overall increase in size. Apple would have to make the iPhone 16 Pro taller and wider to get that 0.2-inch bump‚ and the same would happen to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Now‚ I'm not worried.
