Ipsos: Sweden tops the world list of concerns about crime - ahead of South Africa and Brazil

In a global study conducted by Ipsos on what worries the population of the various countries, Sweden tops the list of concerns about crime and violence - together with Mexico and Chile.
The study called " What Worries The World?" ” surveys public opinion, on the most important social and political issues today, in 27 countries.
The report presents the biggest problems around the world, combined with whether residents think things in their country are moving in the right or wrong direction.

Swedes worry about crime and violence
In Sweden, 57 percent of the population is worried about violence and crime. The corresponding percentage for Chile is 58 percent, and for Mexico 66 percent. The Swedes thus end up in third place on the list of concerns about crime and violence.
In Hungary and Poland - which are often criticized in the old media for their conservative right-wing policies with severely limited immigration - it is a very small percentage of the inhabitants who worry about crime and violence in the country.
In Hungary, the figure is 11 percent and only 6 percent of the inhabitants of Poland are worried about crime and violence. Thus, Poland ends up in the glorious last place on the list.
