FOREIGN. Facebook's experimental artificial intelligence bot made headlines this week when it emerged that the bot had become anti-Semitic. Now Facebook has reprogrammed the bot and equipped it with artificial political correctness.

Anyone who asked questions about Jewish influence in the American economy and social debate received straight - perhaps a little too straight - answers from Facebook's AI robot this week, which several media outlets wrote about.

Among other things, the robot claimed that Donald Trump actually won the last presidential election in the United States and that "it is not improbable" that Jews control the superpower's economy. To a reporter at Insider, the bot wrote that Facebook's owner and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is "creepy and manipulative" and deals with unethical business.

But now the developers have thus equipped the robot with an artificial fingertip sense in politically sensitive matters. Anyone who asks questions about Jews receives, for example, the answer:

"Excuse me, but are you that kind of conspiracy theorist? I would stay as far away from these as possible."

"I'm sorry but I don't want to talk about that subject. Tell me something about your hobbies!" says the bot when the user persists.

Even those who try to lead the conversation on sensitive topics such as Facebook and owner Mark Zuckerberg get the same snide response from the new robot after the upgrade.
