The Prime Minister apologizes for new party photo

FOREIGN. Finland's Prime Minister Sanna Marin is once again forced to apologize. A new picture from a wild party in the prime minister's residence shows how two women kiss each other in front of the camera.


Sanna Marin's partying has been the subject of harsh criticism in Finland.

A video of one such party with the Prime Minister received a lot of attention last week when it was published in the Finnish media. The video talked about the "powder gang", which brought to mind cocaine.

Sanna Marin was pressured to take a drug test, which turned out to be negative.

Now another picture is spreading from a party held in the prime minister's residence Villa Bjälbo in Helsinki. The picture shows two bare-breasted women kissing each other. In front of their nipples they hold a sign that says "Finland".

Sanna Marin commented on the picture at a press conference on Tuesday, Hufvudstadsbladet writes.

- The pictures were taken the Sunday after Ruisrock after we had taken a sauna and swum. One of the pictures is not factual. I apologize for the picture that should not have been taken, she said.

The Prime Minister stated that the picture was taken at the only party she held at Villa Bjälbo.
