FOREIGN. If Sweden were to revoke residence permits and citizenship granted on incorrect grounds, eight out of ten refugees would have to go home again. That's how many people have gone on holiday in the country they fled from, shows a new survey from Novus.

On behalf of the newspaper Bulletin, Novus has asked immigrants how they view return migration, their children's upbringing conditions and vacationing in the country they fled from.

Of those who came as refugees, 79 percent have vacationed in the country they fled from, according to Novus, while 91 percent of family members have done so.

Only two percent of immigrants plan to return voluntarily, while 16 percent answer "maybe". Eight out of ten instead plan to stay in Sweden forever.

The sample consisted of 1,050 people born abroad and the survey was conducted between 18 and 24 August.
