FOREIGN. Britain's new government under Prime Minister Liz Truss is full of so-called diversity.

People of African background receive several of the heaviest posts.

Kwasi Kwarteng, whose parents came to Britain from Ghana, is given the post of finance minister.

James Cleverly, with a mother from Sierra Leone, becomes Britain's first black foreign minister.

The new interior minister, Suella Braverman, is also a second-generation immigrant from Africa, but of Indian ethnicity.

The American public service company NPR notes that Britain now, "thanks to Liz Truss", is getting a government characterized by so much "diversity" that there is no historical precedent.
