Sum 41 hails from Ajax, Ontario, formed in 1996. The band currently consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Deryck Whibley, lead guitarist Dave Baksh, bassist and backing vocalist Jason “Cone” McCaslin, and drummer Frank Zummo. Sum 41’s music is often categorized as punk rock, pop punk, and alternative rock. Since their inception, the band has released seven studio albums, two live albums, and several compilations.
