Delain’s Charolette Wessels Releases “Dopamine” Featuring Epica’s Simone Simons

Delain singer Charlotte Wessels has issued the single “Dopamine,” featuring Epica’s Simone Simons. The track will be included on Wessels full-length solo effort, “The Obsession,” which is slated for a September 20th release. The song deals with SSRI-induced numbness when Wessels was on Sertraline, a type of antidepressant a few years ago. “While the medication was really helpful, there were so many side effects that I’d never heard of,” Wessels offered. “This song deals with some of them, I hope it helps in breaking down the shame and taboo around the topic.”  “The Obsession” Tracks: 01. Chasing Sunsets02. Dopamine03. The Exorcism04. Soulstice05. The Crying Room06. Ode To The West Wind07. Serpentine08. Praise09. All You Are10. Vigor And Valor11. Breathe12. Soft Revolution (2024) Wessels describes the set as “a cohesive exploration of fear and liberation, as well as spellbinding melancholia and dark, catchy elements meeting progressive and heavier soundscapes.”  ### The post Delain’s Charolette Wessels Releases “Dopamine” Featuring Epica’s Simone Simons appeared first on RockinTown.
