DOMESTIC. Social Affairs Minister Jakob Forssmed (KD) is concerned that not enough people are "fully vaccinated" against covid-19. He does not rule out new restrictions.
- Too few are fully vaccinated in Sweden! says Jakob Forssmed in an interview with Svenska Dagbladet.
The spread of covid-19 has increased sharply and the Public Health Authority estimates that the peak of the infection curve will be reached in January.
What "fully vaccinated" actually means is somewhat unclear, as FHM now recommends the elderly to take two new vaccine doses every year.
In any case, Jakob Forssmed does not rule out introducing tougher restrictions, even if he does not see it as relevant at the moment.
- I think that you should be generally careful about making New Year's resolutions that are too strong, he says to SvD.
