Atreyu Album Reimagines Hits & Covers

Atreyu’s “The Pronoia Sessions,” a collection of eight reimagined hits and two nostalgic tribute covers (Chris Cornell and Tom Petty), will begin streaming on October 25th while vinyl and CDs will hit streets on November 8th. “The album has an overarching, somber feel. We wanted songs that would stay in that realm,” noted the band. “‘Like A Stone‘ is one of the most iconic Rock songs of our time. Chris Cornell’s vocal is a treasure. We hope to have done right by his legacy.” The song (recorded in ’03 while Cornell was in Audioslave) is being released as a single in conjunction with Cornell’s birthday – July 20th.  “We had the idea to do a show similar to Nirvana’s MTV ‘Unplugged‘ as a one-off thing,” explained frontman Brandon Saller. “Then we thought, ‘Why not spend some time on it in the studio?’ And it built from there. ‘How far can we push this?'” “The Pronoia Sessions” Tracks: 01. Becoming The Bull 02. Save Us 03. Ex’s & Oh’s 04. Right Side Of The Bed 05. Like A Stone (Audioslave Cover)06. Drowning 07. The Theft 08. Gone 09. Warrior 10. Mary Jane’s Last Dance (Tom Petty cover) Atreyu: Brandon Saller – Lead VocalsDan Jacobs – GuitarTravis Miguel – GuitarPorter McKnight – Bass ‘Pronoia’ is a state of mind that is the opposite of paranoia. ### The post Atreyu Album Reimagines Hits & Covers appeared first on RockinTown.
