Voivod’s official documentary, “We Are Connected,” will make its world premiere tonight (Monday, 7/29) at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal. “We Are Connected“ dives into the Progressive/Thrash Metal band’s legacy from their beginnings in northern Québec and underground success to opening for Iron Maiden, Rush and Metallica.   Voivod’s fifth studio set “Nothingface” (’89), was the band’s best showing on the Billboard 200 chart, peaking at #114.
