The man claimed the 'giggling child', 'dressed in rags', tugged on his coat before 'skipping off into the trees.'It's thought he may have encountered the infamous 'Black Eyed Child' - believed to be the ghost of a young girl who was murdered in the area during the 1960s. Sighting in the Staffordshire forest dates back to the 1980s, with other theories suggesting the spooky figure could be an alien or demon.The man, from Rugeley,.recounted his experience, the dog walker said: "I was walking my dog near Castle Ring around a month ago, at about 10pm. It wasn’t pitch black yet, but the sun had gone down."We were walking through the woods and suddenly I felt a weird sensation in my stomach, like a feeling of impending doom. And I also felt like I was being watched. My dog started to go mad and was pulling on the lead and barking. I've never known her get so frightened."He continued: "I stopped to look around when I felt something tugging on the back of my coat. It made me jump, to be honest, and I quickly spun around to see what it was.
