Staying prepped during summer adventures leaves so much more room for fun and the minor mishaps that often accompany it to take place! @ms.amber.elle our Director of Family Preparedness shares her favorite items to keep on hand when she’s out with the kids doing one of their favorite summer activities: boating and fishing. She already has all of her emergency floatation and survival items in compartments on the boat, so her bag can be more flexible and tag along on other adventures that aren’t just related to boating. Here’s some insight into her picks to give you inspiration as you load out your own bags: Tech -Satellite phone -Battery bank Snacks -High protein like @anthem jersey Med Supplies -Basic wound cleaning -Itch cream -BCK (Bleeding Control Kit) -Tourniquet -bandages/ointment/blister tape Hygiene -contacts -wipes -pee funnel (seriously helpful) Leave room for a change of clothes, towels, and whatever else makes your life run smoother, and dive right into the fun, fully confident that you’re equipped for the unexpected turns.
