How sad Sweden has become
Meeting with Christian teachers kept secret due to image of threat
Published 9/24/2023
This week, a gathering is being held for 150 teachers from five Christian schools in Stockholm, but neither day nor place has been revealed to outsiders. The increased terrorist threat from the Muslim world, but also a general threat picture, means that people are extra careful.
It is staff from Kristna skolan, Källskolan, Stefanskolan, Mikaelskolan and Johan Movinger's high school who gather for a study day.

- We principals have been meeting regularly for some time now and have felt a longing for greater community, both between our teachers and our students, says Timoteus Lind, principal of Stefanskolan and Johan Movinger's high school, to Dagen .
- We felt it was important to demonstrate that we stand together around a common vision, which is not to make money but to create fantastic schools with a Christian value base.
General threat picture
The fact that you don't want to go public with when and where you gather is not solely to do with the increased level of terror.
- According to Säpo, all Christian gatherings should increase preparedness, and we too must think so. It is something that has crept in.
Existential malaise
Timoteus Lind believes that the Christian schools can help counteract the widespread mental illness and hopelessness that exists among young people in particular.
- As we see it, we can offer a solution to the big problem Sweden has with existential malaise. To feel good, a young person needs a meaning, a context and a hope, and we can offer all that. In an age where self-image is based on social media and surface, we can also convey God's loving view of us humans.
