Jelly Roll Reveals His New Health Goal: “To Be On The Cover Of ‘Men’s Health’ By 2026”

Jelly Roll's got some big goals for the future. Jelly Roll has made professional and personal strides over the last year and a half. Professionally, Jelly continues to use his moving lyrics to touch the lives of those who have experienced hardship. The Tennessee native released his latest project, Beautifully Broken, this fall. He wrapped up his extensive tour celebrating the new record with a bang in Nashville, Tennessee, where he brought out Morgan Wallen, Ernest, and Snoop Dogg during the concert. He's been sharing his health journey online, including his weight loss journey. Jelly Roll kicked off 2024 by running his first 5k. This fall, he announced that he'd lost 100 pounds and has no plans to slow down until he reaches his weight loss goal. “It’s really inspired me to start focusing on my health. I’m down 100 pounds now – officially down 100 f**king pounds. It’s been all food. I’m working out, I’m walking. But I’ve learned that as I’m losing weight, I want to go walk and do more stuff because I’m lighter. I feel better. Next year, when y’all see me, you won’t recognize me. I’m going to get under a pile of weights in a way that I never had.” While Jelly Roll says that he won't be able to recognize him in 2025, he has even bigger goals for 2026. Jelly Roll recently sat down with his wife, Bunnie XO, as the guest on her podcast Dumb Blonde. During the episode, Bunnie praises Jelly Roll for his dedication to a goal once he sets his mind to it. "I'm just really proud of you. You've really done so good, and when you dial in on something, and it becomes your fixation, you are going to fine-tune it, and I love the fact that you have set a goal. Can we speak it into existence?" Bunnie then looks to Jelly Roll for him to take the lead on the conversation. This goal that Jelly has not only keeps his weight loss going but also serves as motivation to anyone else undergoing a major life change. "I want to be on the cover of 'Men's Health' by 2026. That's my new goal. I want to have one of the biggest transformations." Jelly Roll then touches on how it was important for fans to see him busting his butt in the gym, talking about his transformation, and seeing his diet change so it serves as an inspiration to those who might feel alone on their journey. Also this is where I'm at, I'm so glad we are talking about this. I did this publically for a reason. I want to be honest about my struggles with it to people. I want wore it for so long, I think that people who become as big as I became. They lose the weight and hid in shame, they go and hide and lose the weight and they come back and don't really know how to interact with the world looking different or feeling different. And they've kind of got to find their whole new way. I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I want to talk about it. It's on my Daily Roll Vlog. You know what I mean? This is what I'm constantly putting in the air because I want to bring people along with me." Jelly Roll then leaves listeners with a powerful message on how his weight has impacted his success. "I didn't become successful because of my weight; I became successful in spite of it. I somehow became this successful, carrying 550 pounds. That's insane." Bunnie then praises her husband again for boldly showing this part of his life when, in today's day and age, you can get surgery, take a shot, or take a pill and lose weight in the shadows. But Jelly's doing the opposite and living his truth for the public to see. I hope that Jelly's goal becomes a reality, and I can't wait to see his transformation unfold in 2025. Way to go, Jelly.
