Asus drops Intel and Nvidia for single AMD CPU in new gaming tablet, says leak

Asus' new gaming tablet, the Asus ROG Flow Z13, has just appeared in a benchmark leak, in part showcasing the incredible performance of the AMD Ryzen Max+ 395 CPU that powers it. The previous iteration of this device used an Intel CPU and Nvidia RTX 4060 laptop GPU but AMD's new "Strix Halo" chip is so powerful, it has replaced both. The leak strongly suggests that future AMD-powered contenders for our best gaming laptop and best handheld gaming PC lists will be incredibly powerful while managing to do away with an entire extra chip.
