The four-story downtown L.A. building has been vacant more than a decade, The Morrison Hotel was featured on the cover of The Doors’ fifth album which was viewed as The Doors returning to their roots coming on the heels of frontman Jim Morrison’s on-stage arrest at a Miami concert that saw him convicted of indecent exposure and profanity.
