Affinity, a progressive rock and jazz fusion band from England, emerged in the late 1960s as part of the burgeoning British jazz-rock movement. The group was formed by students from the University of Sussex, initially as part of the college jazz club. Their lineup coalesced around vocalist Linda Hoyle, guitarist Mike Jopp, bassist Mo Foster, keyboardist Lynton Naiff, and drummer Grant Serpell.
