Jelly Roll Lit Up Like A Kid On Christmas When He Met His New Donkey For The First Time: “This Is The Best Donkey Ever”
It was love at first sight.
Jelly Roll recently showed off his brand new 500-acres of land, getting emotional about everything that he's overcome to be able to finally buy his own property:
"Generational curses were broken because of y’all. I’m standing on it. I am standing here breaking a generational curse right now, and I hope that inspires one of y’all to do the same thing. I love y’all."

But with all that property, he's going to need something to put on it, right?
Well Jelly and his wife, Bunnie Xo, are apparently building up quite the farm for their new land. The couple recently added three mini-cows named Crunch, Brownie and S'more to their family. And Jelly could barely contain his excitement when they arrived:

But they're not stopping at cows. Yesterday, Bunnie shared a video of their new donkey arriving at their home, and Jelly Roll lit up like a kid on Christmas when he saw it.
You could see the country music superstar's excitement as soon as he found out the donkey had arrived: He even fixed his hair, because according to Jelly, "first impressions last a lifetime."
As they head outside, Jelly can hardly contain himself:
"I'm excited. The donkey's going to love me. We're gonna be friends forever."
And he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw just how small the donkey was:
"There's no way he's standing up right now. He's laying down. No, no, I'm telling you, he's laying down. That donkey's not that small.
Oh this is the best donkey ever."
As he was led off the trailer, the donkey pranced around like he was putting on a show for his new owners. Probably excited about going to live with one of the biggest stars in country music, and is going to have an incredible life. Talk about going from the outhouse to the penthouse.
But Jelly started to look a little worried as the donkey began to make himself at home:
"I'm worried. He's a wild donkey. Look, they're struggling. I mean, he's a stubborn fucker. They're struggling to get him in the fence."
Yeah, donkeys do be like that.
It seems like it's all love for donkey though, as Jelly watched his newest addition to the family:
"I like the donkey. Look at him. I can't believe he's that small. I love the little donkey, his little white nose."
Seems like that donkey's going to be living the good life now.
Jelly Roll had a monster 2024, wrapping up his massive Beautifully Broken tour in Nashville last month and gearing up to open his own bar in downtown Music City on the heels of the release of his second country album. But after he finished up his tour, Jelly decided to go off the grid for a while and threw his cell phone into the Cumberland River to take some time for himself to relax and unwind.
Luckily, it seems like he's going to have plenty of company at his house.
