Samuel L. Jackson Refuses To Take On These Kind Of Movies
From Pulp Fiction to Django Unchained, Samuel L. Jackson has earned the title of one of America’s Hollywood legends. While other actors and actresses aim for movies that will put them in the limelight for an award, Jackson has made it known that those are the kinds of movies he does not partake in.
The film star explained that he does not see the Oscars as a measure of his achievements but uses his happiness as a yardstick to measure how far he has come instead. Jackson is not excited about getting the Academy’s attention either, as he genuinely enjoys his craft for pure entertainment.

Over the years, Samuel has starred in productions that turned out to be highlights of his career, including his ‘80s theater debut in Mother Courage And Her Children. In 1994, the actor solidified his presence in Hollywood when he played Jules Winnfield in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, which earned him a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
He received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2000 and got his latest Oscar award, which was presented by his friend and fellow actor Denzel Washington, at the 12th Governor’s Awards in 2022.
