Helldivers 2 has been a huge live-service success for Sony, but otherwise, its recent ‘forever game’ efforts appear to be faltering. Hero shooter Concord was shut down within weeks. Recent reports claim that a God of War multiplayer game has also been cancelled. And now, seemingly, an in-development MMORPG based on Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West has gone the way of the non-robotic dinosaur. Produced by NCSoft, the Korean developer behind Aion and Throne and Liberty, the Horizon MMO is - or was - separate to Guerilla Games’ own alleged multiplayer project.
