The request was simple. Roxxann asked if her service dog could get his own Costco membership card. Rambo is a full-size gray poodle. The breed makes excellent service dogs. They are intelligent, easy to train, and dedicated to their task. Service dogs accompany their handlers everywhere to provide alerts for health issues and assistance in areas they are trained for. Roxxann’s TikTok bio states that Rambo is a cardiac alert Service Dog In Training (SDIT). Rambo must stay near Roxxann during any activity that may contribute to cardiac stress, such as shopping. A dog’s senses are very acute and can pick up subtle changes in its handler. Having his membership card makes sense, too. The best part of this adventure was the photo shoot to get the perfect picture of Rambo for his ID card. Like many poodles, he is very photogenic. He posed like a champ, sitting nicely and looking directly into the camera. As he sat for the Costco photographer, he was quite the dapper gentleman, wearing his service dog vest and looking very official. After they renewed their membership, it was time to scan their cards to enter. Using Rambo’s newly minted ID card featuring his picture, the pair began shopping.
