WATCH: Riley Green Takes “Worst Way” To Late Night For Steamy Performance

Is it hot in here, or is it just Riley Green? Riley Green is making late-night TV a little NSWF as he took his steamy single "Worst Way" to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Ahead of kicking off his Damn Country Music Tour, Riley Green is doing some promotion, appearing on podcasts, late-night TV shows, and more, promoting his tour and his latest album, Don't Mind If I Do.  https://www.instagram.com/p/DFZQNefs5tt/?img_index=1 The Alabama native, who is known for writing heartbreaking ballads like "Jesus Saves" or "Don't Mind If I Do," threw fans a curveball when he released the steamy ballad "Worst Way" ahead of his album's release. "Worst Way" is one of the rare love songs we get from Green, and it's one of the few solo writes featured on the record. When the song was released, we noticed it was reminiscent of Eric Church's track "Like A Wrecking Ball," which Green noted in an interview with Kelleigh Bannen that The Chief inspired more than just one of his songs. In 2018, Green released "When She Comes Home Tonight," which was a massive hit among fans. When Green began writing more seriously, he questioned how he could create a more "polished" version of the song for fans to listen to. From that, "Worst Way" was born. “I wrote a song years ago, and it was called ‘When She Comes Home Tonight,’ and it’s that type of sexy love song thing, which I don’t tend to do a lot, but I wrote that song because I was covering ‘Like a Wrecking Ball’ by Eric Church. That was kind of how I, when I started touring and really writing what I would call maybe, professionally, I started thinking about, ‘How can I replace this cover with a song that has that feel?’ It went over so well, so I wrote that song, and it’s hung around all these years. But I didn’t have a producer, I didn’t have a manager, I would just record it in like, Bob’s garage, somewhere, so the production quality wasn’t necessarily what I’ve learned to now pick things apart and try to be creative in the studio as well. When I wrote ‘Worst Way’ that was kind of in that vein, and I had a vision of songs that give me that type of feeling over the years. ‘Slow Dancing In A Burning Room’ John Mayer, that vibe, something about that was so cool to make it country and make it my own. I would’ve never thought that song would be as big as it has been, but it’s had a whole moment.” A "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room" vibe is exactly what he got with "Worst Way." Since the single's release, Riley Green fans have been going crazy for the track. The sultry and sexy vibe of wanting a lover got the ladies hot and bothered. It also does not help that you have one of country music's heartthrobs singing the song. To say some women's minds were running wild when hearing this song is an understatement. Riley Green took the hit single to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, bringing the steamy song to life. As Green flawlessly delivers the lyrics, the stage background features a fiery image that makes the words pop as they are delivered to the audience. Jimmy Kimmel Live! was brave not to censor this performance. But for those ladies lusting after Riley Green, we hate to be the bearer of bad news, but fans are speculating that he could be in a relationship (or having a romantic fling) with Megan Moroney... but that's a rabbit hole we will let you go down yourselves. This man does not miss. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8c1guwINPQ DAMN COUNTRY MUSIC TOUR DATES: March 27, 2025 – Abbotsford, BC – Abbotsford Centre March 28, 2025 – Kelowna, BC – Prospera Place March 30, 2025 – Regina, SK – Brandt Centre April 3, 2025 – Kingston, ON – Slush Puppie Place April 4, 2025 – Toronto, ON – Coca-Cola Coliseum April 5, 2025 – London, ON – Budweiser Gardens May 1, 2025 – Athens, GA – Akins Ford Arena May 9, 2025 – Lake Charles, LA – Lake Charles Event Center May 10, 2025 – Tupelo, MS – Cadence Bank Arena May 29, 2025 – Youngstown, OH – Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre May 30, 2025 – Cincinnati, OH – The Andrew J Brady Music Center May 31, 2025 – Detroit, MI – Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill June 12, 2025 – Baltimore, MD – Pier Six Pavilion June 13, 2025 – Wilmington, NC – Live Oak Bank Pavilion June 14, 2025 – Raleigh, NC – Coastal Credit Union Music Park June 19, 2025 – Franklin, TN – FirstBank Amphitheater June 21, 2025 – Huntington, WV – Marshall Health Network Arena July 24, 2025 – New York, NY – The Rooftop at Pier 17 July 25, 2025 – Boston, MA – MGM Music Hall at Fenway July 26, 2025 – Gilford, NH – BankNH Pavilion August 21, 2025 – Bonner, MT – KettleHouse Amphitheater August 22, 2025 – Idaho Falls, ID – Mountain America Center August 23, 2025 – Nampa, ID – Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater
