Mason Ramsey Spotted Giving A New Shirt & Hat To A Homeless Man In Florida
What a caring young man.
Mason Ramsey, who once was a young yodeling boy in the isles of Walmart, has grown up quite a bit since he was first discovered. In 2018, Mason Ramsey went viral yodeling in the aisles of a Harrisburg, Illinois, Walmart, leading to him signing a record deal. He recorded songs like “Famous,” “Before I Knew It,” and one of my personal favorites, "Twang." And let us not forget his feature on Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road."
For a minute, Ramsey was the IT kid in the country music scene.

While some parents would encourage their kids to keep riding the wave of fame they've been blessed with, Ramsey stepped out of the limelight and grew up like a proper kid after creating an album. He shared clips of what he was up to here and there, like riding on jet skis and working at Subway, but for the most part, he truly enjoyed his childhood like a normal kid.
After living life, he stepped back into the limelight in 2023 when he released his first single in four years, "Reasons To Come Home." He's since been on a grind, releasing music consistently, touring, and giving off "Elvis energy" (or that's what his fans feel like).

While he's still young in his career, building his name and following, the heart of the young boy yodeling has not changed as he's grown up. In a recent moment captured on camera by a fellow artist, Halle Kearns, she captured a moment where Ramsey displayed a genuine act of kindness.
Ramsey walked into a venue in Jacksonville, Florida, before a show that Kearns was doing with him. He grabbed a shirt and a hat from the merch booth. When he returned to the establishment's front door, he approached a homeless man, talked with him, and gave him the clothing items.
"Even beyond his killer vocals, old soul, and electric performances, Mason has the biggest heart for people. Caught him bringing merch out to a homeless man before our show in Jacksonville, FL, tonight. I love this dude and believe in him so much. So proud of you."
From the video, it appears that Ramsey and the man had a heartfelt conversation. As soon as he turned away, the man immediately put on the hat Ramsey had given him. The man even threw away the existing cap he was wearing, looking grateful that Ramsey had chosen to gift him with a new lid.
It doesn't take much to make someone's day, and I am sure Ramsey left a lasting impression on this gentleman.
Mason Ramey's parents raised fine young man.
