Cross Canadian Ragweed Fans Are Losing It As The Band Teases Shows In Texas

Does this mean more shows? Does this mean another Billy Bob's live album? WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Cross Canadian Ragweed fans are losing it as the iconic Red Dirt ban shared ANOTHER cryptic image on its social media pages, suggesting that a second announcement is imminent. In the fall of last year, Cross Canadian Ragweed nearly broke the internet when they updated their Facebook and Instagram page for the first time in 11 years, sharing an image of a curtain covering up something. Overlayed on that curtain was a text that noted it would come in 2025. https://www.instagram.com/p/C__5gV5AGN2/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=563d47b7-cb8a-412c-82ad-a7e98585b463 That teaser was just the start of the legendary Red Dirt band hyping up social media for what we now know is their reunion show in Stillwater, Oklahoma, later sharing a similar image, adding a tag that said "To: Koe From: Ragweed," which was a nod to his famed song "Ragweed." Since announcing their The Boys From Oklahoma event, which features the Turnpike Troubadours, The Great Divide, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Stoney LaRue, and more, social media has been curious whether this reunion show will be a one-and-done or if it will spark Ragweed to return for a tour. Ragweed extended the initial one-night event to four, selling out each one at Boone Pickens Stadium. Over 180,000 tickets were sold, indicating a seriously high ticket demand and some fans are still doing what they can to try and get tickets for the reunion shows. They recently performed an impromptu six-song set during Mile 0 Fest in Key West, Florida, and while some fans were upset that the band reunited on stage for the first time before April, others were thrilled to see them all together, hoping that this meant they were serious about getting back on the road versus just playing four nights in Stillwater.. Luckily for fans who were happy to see their Mile 0 set, Cross Canadian Ragweed seems to be cooking up something again. Last night, the group posted another cryptic image to their Facebook page, similar to the one they shared before the reunion announcement. This image is seemingly shaped like the state of Texas and features a tag that reads, "From: Ragweed" in the shape of a heart. Does this mean a Texas tour? Does this mean a Valentine's Day announcement? Does this mean they will remake their epic 2002 Live And Loud At Billy Bob's Texas record? Given the Valentine's Day theme of the post, we hope to hear this announcement in a few days. Whatever it is, fans are already stoked. https://www.instagram.com/p/DFpH9LiO7aH/?hl=en Check out a few of the comments left on the post. "JUST ANNOUNCE A TOUR ALREADY!" "Yes!! Come to Texas!!" "Don’t be suspicious." "Please let it be a Texas Show! Heck, I'd drive anywhere in Texas to get a chance to see the boys from Oklahoma!" "We all wanted these guys back together for so long, we get it, and now a lot of people are pissed if they do anything besides play the Stillwater shows. Unreal." "I swear, if y'all come to Texas after I went through all that stress and spent all that money to get tickets for Oklahoma, I’m going to be so mad." "Y'all, they listened to us. They're coming south of that Red River! Les go!!!" "It’s gonna be in Fort Worth, of course." "Billy Bob's Texas!!!! AGAIN! Another live album!" "Ummm yes." "Looks like Texas!" "Dear God let it be Billy Bob’s." "Yesssssss lord!!!!" While you're here, check out how great they sounded at Mile 0. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSQ31MrT9mU
