"You will be fought": Police officers hunt "Russian collaborators"

Domestic. Police officer Viktor Adolphson, external commander of the emergency services in Södermalm, calls people "Russian trolls" and "Russian collaborators" and threatens to "fight" them. He does this in front of his over 200,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter).

"A Russian troll running errands for a hostile foreign power. You must be fought. The first and easiest step is block."

So writes celebrity police and social media profile Viktor Adolphson in a reply to another user on X.

Other users who criticize him for various things are also told that they are "Russian trolls" or "Russian sympathizers." Not least after Adolphson posted a photo of himself posing with a yellow and a blue pen.

"Russian troll. You should be ashamed. Block," Adolphson writes in response to a person who believes that the police should "defend the inhabitants of Sweden against crime."

Another user who questions the police commander's view of the Ukraine war, a view that is consistent with the image of politicians and the media, receives the following rebuke:

"Now you showed that you are not only a Russian collaborator, but also that you have no idea. In my job, we risk our lives."

Many users have reacted to Adolphson's threatening tone. However, he has defended himself vigorously in a series of posts in which he counterattacks even more critical users and announces that he is blocking their accounts.

"Tip. Read the different meanings of 'fight'. Instead of guessing and believing things. Tip the victim to report it," he writes in one of the answers.

Viktor Adolphson is just one in a series of senior Swedish government officials at X who in recent weeks have reacted to Donald Trump's peace plan by calling critics "Russian trolls" and announcing their hunt for "traitors".
