Hear the new Doobie Brothers song “Learn to Let Go”
The Doobie Brothers released "Learn To Let Go", the fourth single of their upcoming new album "Walk This Road", and is the first track to feature Michael McDonald on vocals in 45 years. Previously, the band had already shared the songs "Call Me", "Lahaina" and "Walk This Road".
The track was co-written by Michael McDonald and the producer John Shanks. Michael shares the vocals in the song with Pat Simmons and Tom Johnston.
"It's a song about what might be the hardest lesson we learn and one of the last things we do in this life," McDonald said.

The new album has 10 tracks and was recorded with the line-up formed by Michael McDonald (Vocals, keyboards), Patrick Simmons (Guitar, banjo, vocals), Tom Johnston (Vocals, guitar, harmonica) and John McFee (Guitar, banjo, cello and more). This same line-up will be the one which will tour to promote the record.
