In all fairness, we ought to forgive this congressman’s past skepticism and dismissal of Trump as many of us, including myself, were once skeptical of him and didn’t even trust him. We only supported and voted for him because we knew the alternative would be far worse, but he surprised us and showed himself far more aligned with conservative tenets across the board than we ever thought he would be.
