Bunnie Xo Fires Back After ‘Teen Mom’ Star Farrah Abraham Criticizes Her Parenting: “Views Must Be Low, Baby”

This week, former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham, who first appeared on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant in 2009, took a jab at podcaster and wife of Jelly Roll, Bunnie XO, on an episode of the OnlyMoms podcast. Farrah, who has also dabbled in porn and stripping, was talking about raising daughters, as she has a 16 year old herself now, and how she’s “learned” in treatment and therapy that moms who judge or critique how their teenage daughters dress are contributing to “rape culture” and the problem of sexual assault victims sometimes feeling like what happened to them is their fault, due to how they dress. Obviously, what a woman wears is completely her choice and is never an excuse for any sort of sexual harassment or assault, but to argue against a mom encouraging her teenage daughter to dress a little more appropriately feels like a massive stretch… the teen years are hard, especially on mother/daughter relationships, but I think it’s crazy to say a mom shouldn’t be encouraging their child to dress for their age, especially when they’re still a teenager. She tries to articulate this sentiment on the podcast, then at the end of her point, they cut to a random video Bunnie had shared online, also showing her teenage daughter Bailee Ann, where Bunnie tells Bailee her outfit was bordering on inappropriate, and judging by the conversation it’s something they must discuss often these days… but that’s just how it goes when you’re a teenage girl. There’s nothing out of the ordinary about this at all. In the post of the clip on Instagram, Farrah said she wished Bunnie “the best” and explained how she thought Bunnie should changed her approach: “I truly wish Alyssa aka Bunny all the best in her journey of 12 steps and learns more on how to raise children, there are parenting books, there are child development books, unconditional love is not critical, as an abuse victim herself, an escort I wish nothing but continued recovery for this family and for the teens impacted by the hypocrisy & narcissism. To all the moms & dads out there who are stopping this systemic cycle your children will always thank you as you showed up for them NOT yourself. I’m grateful my daughter Sophia can express herself and never be treated this way but empowered.” I think feeling “empowered” and also making sure your daughter is safe, and isn’t trying to look 30 when they’re still a teenager, are two different things, and I’m not a parent so I can’t really judge, but coming for Bunnie for making sure her daughter is dressed appropriately is insane and really out of line to me. Farrah must be the most perfect mother of all time to come for someone else like this, and on a topic that is truly none of her business. Bringing Bailee, a minor, into a conversation about rape culture, is simply not okay: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Farrah Abraham (@farrahabraham) Well as you can imagine, Bunnie obviously didn’t appreciate this whole thing, and she replied in the comments saying how wrong it was that she posted and tagged Bailee in that way without her consent. Bailee is no longer tagged in the post, but Jelly Roll and Bunnie still are: “I think posting our underage daughter & tagging her in a post about r*pe culture without our consent is just as criminal as your extremely vapid statement here. I don’t know where this came from, but like I said in my text you- you’ve never had a real friend so I don’t expect you to know how to be one. And by the way, it’s TOXICITY- w/ a T, not a D, sugar.” Farrah also shared a screenshot of a text from Bunnie on her Instagram stories, where Bunnie asked her what that post was about and why she was tagged. Farrah gave a lengthy explanation on why she doesn’t respond to “attention seeking questions,” and went onto give a pretty in-depth answer and blasted it on social media for all to see: Bunnie shared video of herself on TikTok while trimming her cows, saying Farrah’s “views must be low” for her to be creating content like this: “When a soulless Muppet tries to come for my parenting but I’m just over here giving my cow a faux hawk living my dream life. Views must be low, baby.” I have to agree… bringing another child into it is just wrong, and coming for their family for no reason just seems so off. Farrah previously appeared on an episode of Bunnie’s Dumb Blonde podcast with her daughter Sophia, but I doubt that will ever happen again at this point Being a mom seems hard enough, so I don’t see the point in going back-and-forth like this on social media and making it that much worse for either side. @xomgitsbunnie The switch up is wild- Views must be low baby #bunnieandcrunchy ♬ Doechii NISSAN ALTIMA – Doechii Brasil The post Bunnie Xo Fires Back After ‘Teen Mom’ Star Farrah Abraham Criticizes Her Parenting: “Views Must Be Low, Baby” first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
