You might remember the original concept trailer for ILL, which did the rounds back in 2021. It’s an FPS. You’re in a narrow hallway of a dilapidated, post zombie outbreak apartment block. The infected former residents stagger towards you, oozing thick red goop from their eyes and mouths. You blow them apart with a double-barreled shotgun. Some of the original uploads of that trailer have millions of views; slow, scary, and boasting extremely detailed monsters and gore, ILL’s other early trailers make it look like a mix of Half-Life, Resident Evil, and Stalker. But barring a few small, sporadic updates, the FPS has been quiet for a while - that is until now, when a new teaser suggests ILL could appear in full at the upcoming Summer Game Fest.
