U.S. stock futures jump as federal trade court blocks Trump’s sweeping tariffs

U.S. stock futures shot higher late Wednesday after a federal trade court ruled that President Donald Trump exceeded his authority in imposing a sweeping raft of global tariffs. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose more than 550 points, or 1.3%, as of 11 p.m. Eastern. S&P 500 futures were last up 1.7% while Nasdaq-100 futures soared almost 2%. That came after the three major stock indexes declined around 0.5% earlier in the day.
