Ex-Butcher Babies Vocalist Goes To “Hell Or Hollywood” With Zakk Wylde

Former Butcher Babies vocalist Carla Harvey and her new project The Violent Hour have released the audio for their second single “Hell Of Hollywood,” featuring guitarist Zakk Wylde (Pantera, Black Label Society and solo). “I wanted to write a song that felt the way I did when I first moved to Los Angeles at twenty, like my motorcycle boots hitting the Sunset Strip for the very first time,” recalled Harvey. “I figured I’d survive somehow, and every day was exactly that: survival. That’s what “Hell Or Hollywood” is: the chaos, illusion and grit in perfect juxtaposition.” Hell Of Hollywood “Sick Ones,” with Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5, was the lead single. The song, according to Harvey, was “about cutting toxic people out of your life,” Harvey, who left the Butcher Babies in ’24, has released multiple comic books (including the “Soul Sucka” series) and a ’14 novel, “Death And Other Dances.” ### The post Ex-Butcher Babies Vocalist Goes To “Hell Or Hollywood” With Zakk Wylde appeared first on RockinTown.
