Professor Dewington is a white pigeon. He found his forever home by landing in the yard of people who care. They noted his beautiful coloring and docile behavior. Although he didn’t take to it immediately, it wasn’t long before he was off on his first adventure. At the moment, Dewi is unable to fly. He hops and gets some lift to move from point to point, but open-air flying is a no-go. At some time in Dewi’s past, he suffered a broken wing that is either still healing or healed incorrectly. That affects his ability to fly. The fact that he has been adopted means he has a chance at a great life. He would not have that opportunity in the wild. The little bird may realize that.
