We’re almost at the midpoint of October, with just a little more than two weeks until Halloween … which means it’s the perfect time for some spooky classic sitcom episodes! All month long, MeTV will be running special Halloween-focused episodes of classic shows including Perry Mason, Bonanza, Rawhide, Happy Days, M*A*S*H, The Dick Van Dyke Show, and many more — plus, Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchock Presents almost every night of the week!

A group of soldiers attempting to honor the anniversary of Little Bighorn learn a little more about the conflict than they anticipated.

1:05 am: Alfred Hitchcock Presents, “Keep Me Company”/ “Beta Delta Gamma”

First up, a young wife (Anne Francis) is so lonely, she begins reporting crimes to the police just to have someone to talk to. Then, a group of frat brothers decide to haze a fellow member by making him believe he committed murder … hmmm, what could go wrong?

11:30 pm: Perry Mason, “The Case Of The Fatal Fetish”

Could a voodoo doll have led to a man’s death? Mason searches for more earthly cause.

12:35 am: The Twilight Zone, “Ninety Years Without Slumbering”

An old man believes his life is intimately intertwined with the functioning of his grandfather clock.

1:05 am: Alfred Hitchcock Presents, “You Can’t Be Little Girl All Your Life”/ “The Old Pro”

First up: a woman is a victim of a home invasion attack, but then isn’t sure if she can identify her attacker. Then, a retired assassin learns that, well, it’s very hard to retire when you’re an assassin.

12:35 am: The Twilight Zone, “Ring-a-ding Girl”

A Hollywood starlet’s ring gives her visions of her old hometown.

1:05 am: Alfred Hitchcock Presents, “I Spy”/ “Services Rendered”

First up: a detective trying to prove that a woman is cheating on her husband falls in love with her instead. Then, a blow to the head gives a man amnesia, and the only clues to his old life are a slip of paper with a doctor’s name and address written on it, and $1000 cash.

7:00 am: Toon In With Me, “Old October”

Bill and Toony reminisce on Octobers of the past.

12:35 am: The Twilight Zone, “You Drive”

A hit-and-run driver flees the scene of an accident after running down a paper boy. He’s happy to keep his crime to himself … but his car has other ideas.

1:05 am: Alfred Hitchcock Presents, “The Right Kind Of Medicine” / “A Jury Of Her Peers”

First up: a young Robert Redford stars as a cop-killing bank robber who seeks out an underground doctor to stitch up his wounds. But it never pays to rush your pharmacist! Then, an elderly man turns up his dead, his wife catatonic with grief. While the local police dust for prints, their wives suss out the real story.

12:35 am: The Twilight Zone, “The Long Morrow”

Talk about bad timing! An astronaut falls in love — right before a long mission that will keep him in suspended animation, returning him to earth in 40 years at the same age, while his girlfriend will have aged 40 years.

1:05 am: Alfred Hitchcock Presents, “The Silk Petticoat”/ “Bad Actor”

First up: A woman discovers that her betrothed has been married before … and his first wife’s silk petticoats reveal terrible secrets. Then, Robert Duvall stars as a heavy-drinking actor who can’t land a part anymore … and comes up with a novel way to get rid of a friend who is getting better work than he is.

The Sven Squad presents a lineup of Halloween-themed toons.

10 am: Wild Wild West, “The Night of the Man-Eating House”

11 am, Wagon Train, “Little Girl Lost”

Each night, the cries of a little girl ring out — is she the ghost of one of the members of the Donner party?

2 pm: Bonanza, “Dark Star”

Joe almost shoots a wolf … who turns out to actually be a beautiful woman. The mystery woman has been rejected by her people for being a witch. But could it be true?

3 pm: The Rifleman, “Faces of Yesterday”

A man with the exact same face as a soldier Lucas killed in the Civil War challenges him to a gunfight.

3:30 pm: The Rifleman, “Hostages to Fortune”

Some cattle rustlers take advantage of Halloween to don disguises and attempt to ply their dastardly trade.

4 pm: Rawhide, “Incident of the Murder Steer”

Four men join the cattle drive; each is murdered, and after each murder, a steer with the word “murder” branded on it appears.

5:30 pm: Wanted Dead or Alive, “Witch Woman”

Josh protects a man and his family from town residents angry that the man has tossed the town “witch” off of his property.

An old witch’s curse? In 1950s Wisconsin? Believe it! The gang must perform an exorcism on Al Delvecchio’s right arm, which is the victim of an unholy curse.

5 pm: The Love Boat, “The Eyes Of Love / Masquerade / Hollywood Royalty (part 1)”

A masquerade party on the ship helps move along several plots, including old loves brought back together, and a jewel heist scheme.

6:30 pm: Collector’s Call, “Phil Meenan — Frankenstein”

Super-fan Meenan has every kind of Frankenstein memento, from pieces of the original 1931 film set, to tattoos all over his body.

7 pm: M*A*S*H, “Trick Or Treatment”

On Halloween night, the 4077th dress up in costumes, tell ghost stories … and see a man who had been declared a goner rise from the dead.

First up: A crook decides he can get rich quick by blackmailing the patients of s psychoanalyst. Then, in a Ray Bradbury-penned (!) episode, a mechanic becomes a devotee of a faith healer who he believes has cured his ulcer. But the situation is not what it initially appears to be.

3:00 am: The Fugitive, “Crack In A Crystal Ball”

A supposed psychic knows where Kimble is headed next, in a scam designed to prove his alleged occult credentials.
