“Pumpkin Day” — Muslims Arrested for Plotting Attack on Gay Bars in Michigan

A terror plot dubbed "pumpkin day" by the suspects ended in arrests instead of carnage. Gay bars in Michigan were the intended targets.

The FBI arrested two adult Muslims, and named 5 unidentified co-conspirators, as well as one juvenile who were allegedly involved in planning a terror attack on gay bars in Michigan. The attack was planned for Halloween night. They dubbed the plan as “Pumpkin Day”. (CFL previously wrote about this, but the complaint was released on Nov 3.)

“This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend. More details to come. Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland.” Kash Patel on X 10-31-2025.

72-page Federal complaint released 11-3-2025 regarding pumpkin day:

“The two Michigan men charged with supplying weapons for an ISIS-inspired terror attack had been scouting LGBTQ-friendly bars in a Detroit suburb and talked of copying the 2015 Paris onslaught that killed 130 people, according to a 72-page criminal complaint unsealed in federal court Monday.

The document names Mohmed Ali and Majed Mahmoud, both of Dearborn, as conspiring to unleash a mass shooting attack on Halloween night — a fiendish plot the suspects codenamed “pumpkin,” according to prosecutors.

The complaint also refers to five unidentified co-conspirators and a minor, labeled “Person 1,” the latter of whom was allegedly assigned to carry out the attack along with Ali, while the rest of the group made their way to join ISIS in Syria.” New York Post

The suspects “stockpiled” weapons: 3 AR-15 rifles, two shotguns, four pistols, and 1600 rounds of ammunition. Go-pro cameras, tactical vests, and other gear were also included in search warrants executed by Federal agents. They ‘scouted’ various lgbtq+ bars and trained at gun ranges.

This was not an arrest for show, even though one attorney for the defendants claimed the men would not be charged. Heads up, clown, they were charged. Each adult was charged with one count of transferring firearms knowing they would be used in terrorism. Each count contains a possible penalty of 15 years in prison. Pumpkin Day was a bust. Literally.
