Trump Isn't Having It, Fires Back at Divisive Former First Lady Michelle O. Over Vapid Ballroom Criticism

Trump responds to Michelle Obama’s criticism of his White House ballroom renovation plans.

For reasons known only to herself, former First Lady Michelle Obama has been on an extended whinefest the last few months, consistently moaning about her oh-so-awful life as a multi-millionaire and complaining about her past treatment from the press, who in reality treated her like some sort of goddess despite the fact that she is bitter, unsympathetic, and utterly entitled.

In one of her recent rants, she went after Trump’s plans to (self-finance) a White House ballroom, which would serve the nation long after he is gone from office. The horror! Like many Democrats who have been acting as if the East Wing of the People’s House is some sort of sacred ground, she ignores the fact that it is in fact stale and old, a building that previous presidents – Democrats and Republicans alike - have made multiple upgrades and additions to.

Trump, being Trump, wasn’t just going to sit there and let her tee off. He came back at her hard, as is his custom. This is what we love about the guy:

Maybe we should continue to have world leaders stand in the mud:

"The East Wing is being spent by private donors. It's a $250, $300 million building. It's going to be the most beautiful anywhere in the world," he said Monday.

"They had an event [at the White House] the other day. With tables, they could hold 79 people. Now, if you have President Xi from China, or if you have some big state event, we have no place to have it. You know what they did? …They will put a tent on the lawn. It was a low section because that's the only section you have… If it rained, you were sitting in six inches of water. It was a disaster."

Go Home Barack, You're Drunk: A President Whose Legacy Is Crumbling Struggles to Be Relevant Again

The liberal tears are coming hard. Here’s a former “Policy Director” from Michelle’s First Lady days:

Cry harder.

Maybe I’m missing something – was there some great policy achievement that Michelle brought from the East Wing that we should all laud? My memory ain’t what it used to be, but my main recollection of her is when she famously said, “For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.” (No, M, you will never live that down.)

Unfortunately, that is the legacy the Obamas leave us with. Once touted as the Great Unifier, Barack and his spouse have turned out to be bitter, entitled, endlessly whining, and divisive. Even I, as someone on the other side of the political aisle, had a moment of hope that perhaps this guy could bring us together. Instead, what we have in this pair is a permanently angry, endlessly aggrieved couple whose purpose seems to focus on pulling us apart, not bringing us together.

Sad.
