Listen up, patriots—every single time some blue-haired socialist on campus or some smug late-night “comedian” screeches that “Nazis were right-wing,” they’re either historically illiterate or flat-out lying to your face. The claim is garbage. Pure, unrecycled, Marxist garbage. And today we’re going to bury it once and for all with facts so plain a ninth-grader could follow them.
First, the name itself: National Socialist German Workers’ Party. That’s not the “National Capitalist Freedom Party,” folks. They called themselves socialists for a reason. Hitler’s 25-point party program in 1920 demanded profit-sharing in large companies, the nationalization of trusts, the seizure of land without compensation for “the common good,” and old-age pensions run by the state. Sound like Ronald Reagan to you? Or does it sound like Bernie Sanders on steroids?
Second, the economy. The Nazis didn’t “deregulate” anything. They smashed private property rights whenever it suited them. They fixed prices, fixed wages, told factories exactly what to produce and how much, and ran the infamous Four-Year Plan that was straight-up central planning. Hermann Göring bragged, “I am the economy!” The Reich took over banks, steel mills, synthetic fuel plants—you name it. That’s not capitalism; that’s socialism with a swastika painted on it.
Third, the culture war. The right wing in 1930s Europe meant monarchists, free-market liberals, and devout Catholics who wanted limited government and tradition. Hitler despised all of them. He jailed conservative nationalists who wouldn’t bow, banned Christian youth groups that competed with the Hitler Youth, and murdered Ernst Röhm and the “conservative” SA leadership on the Night of the Long Knives because they weren’t radical enough. The real right-wingers in Germany fought the Nazis tooth and nail—until the Nazis threw them in Dachau.
Fourth, the left loves to scream “fascism is right-wing” because Jonah Goldberg wrote a book or something. Reality check: Benito Mussolini, the guy who literally invented fascism, was a lifelong socialist. He edited the Italian Socialist Party newspaper Avanti! before he broke with the Marxists over World War I. His fascism was “everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.” That’s the opposite of American conservatism, which screams “leave me the hell alone!”
And finally, the ultimate proof: when the Nazis rolled into Russia in 1941, who did they fight? Capitalists? No. They fought the Soviets—two flavors of socialism slugging it out for control of Europe. National Socialism vs. International Socialism. Same poison, different packaging.
So why does the left keep peddling this lie? Simple. If they admitted that the greatest monsters of the 20th century were big-government, collectivist, anti-individual, anti-God socialists, their whole project collapses. They can’t let you see that the road to Auschwitz was paved with the same “for the greater good” excuses they use to push gun grabs, speech codes, and Green New Deal tyranny today.
Now I want you to think hard:
When someone demands the government control healthcare, education, energy, and speech “for the common good,” which side of history are they really on?
When universities ban conservative speakers and Big Tech silences dissent, are they defending “democracy,” or are they warming up the same playbook the Nazis used against their enemies?
If nationalizing industries, crushing religious liberty, and turning children over to state indoctrination is “right-wing,” then what exactly does the left think “left-wing” means anymore?
The answer is obvious, and it should make your blood boil. The left doesn’t hate Nazis because they were “right-wing.” They hate Nazis because the Nazis gave socialism a bad name by being too honest about where it leads.
We are the heirs of 1776, not 1933. We stand for limited government, individual liberty, free markets, faith, family, and the Constitution. The moment we let these America-hating Marxists rewrite history to smear us with their own bloody ideology is the moment we start losing the country our ancestors died to give us.
So the next time some pinko professor or MSNBC drone calls you a Nazi for loving freedom, laugh in their face, hit them with the facts, and dare them to defend the real record of their socialist heroes. Because the truth is on our side—and the truth shall make us free.
Lock and load, patriots. The culture war is a history war, and we’re winning it one red-pill at a time.
