Democrat Congressman: Yes, the US Is the 'Great Satan'

Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson claims the US is the 'Great Satan', reflecting extreme political views.

You may remember Democratic Congressman Hank Johnson from some of his greatest hits.

My favorite is his worry that Guam will become so overpopulated that it will tip over and capsize into the Pacific Ocean.

Johnson is a complete idiot and just the kind of man that the term "retard" has come back in vogue to describe. Early on in his tenure he was voted the "Most Clueless" member of Congress by staffers.

As a moral exemplar and former magistrate judge, Johnson believes that Donald Trump's policy of blowing up narco-traffickers is evil, and his actions have confirmed what he likely believed all along: the United States is the Great Satan.

One of the greatest descriptions of listening to Johnson comes from The Loftus Party:

Hank Johnson is not what anyone would describe as an exciting wordsmith in Congress. In fact, he is so dull and boring that I would periodically check his pulse mid interview just to confirm a few things. When Hank is not actively serving as a stronger sleep aid than Ambien or counting sheep, he occasionally says remarkably dumb things in Congress.

Well, Johnson is at it again. Although I would add that what Johnson says is not just remarkably dumb, but an example of where the median Democrat is ideologically these days.

In a sane world, propagandists like Dean Obeidallah would try to find somebody a bit less retarded than Hank Johnson to make the moral case to his audience that Orange Man is being bad by killing terrorists, but we now live in a world where it is pretty normal for lefties to describe America as a Nazi country filled with roving bands of white supremacists killing brown people for sport.

So recruiting a Congressman to echo the Iranian Mullahs is almost on brand, I suppose.

A bit out there, but we have been moving in this direction for a while. Democrats have been rallying around Islamic terrorists since October 7th, and taken to the airwaves to defend Tren de Aragua and MS 13. They embrace Hamas and call to globalize the Intifada, so why not adopt the talking points of our enemies who scream "Death to America?"

The leading lights of the Democratic Party are now openly anti-American, and the great unifying principle (aside from loathing Trump and every one of his supporters) is that white Americans are evil and need to be put in their place and eventually replaced.

From that perspective, accepting the Iranian characterization of America as the Great Satan makes perfect sense.

It's true that Democrats haven't cornered the market on idiocy. Republicans have had their share of morons make it to office, too. But they usually do it on a platform of loving America, at least. Democrats seem inclined to elect morons as long as they hate America enough, while Republicans lean toward the morons who love it.

I would prefer a zero-moron zone in Congress, of course, but if I had to choose between morons who love America and those who agree with the Ayatollahs, it's not a hard choice.
