As you’ve probably heard, the Mamdani makeover in NYC is a flipping mess and it is only January 2. Zohran’s cabinet is taking shape as a ‘politically correct’ yet ethnically dangerous disaster. He even took his oath of office on a Quran. The self-described socialist Muslim is rapidly turning NYC into a disaster.

The Mamdani makeover

First, Mamdani appointed a lesbian to FDNY Commissioner who has never been an actual firefighter.  She’s never picked up a fire hose, never run into a burning building to save lives, and the NY Fire Department will ultimately pay the price for the new Mayor’s stupidity.

“Zohran Mamdani and his new handpicked fire commissioner will begin their time in office on Thursday. The new fire chief, Lillian Bonsignore, is a strong advocate for the LGBTQ community, but whether she has what it takes to lead America’s biggest fire department is yet to be seen.

Nevertheless, Mamdani is excited about Bonsignore becoming the first openly gay FDNY fire chief.

“I am proud Lillian will make history too as the first openly gay person to head up the department,” the mayor said last week.” Daily Wire

He’s proud but the FDNY may not be, considering her lack of firefighting experience. She did spend years as part of the medical program and claims that she “knows the job.” FDNY is the largest fire department in the entire country. Identity politics is the bottom line of his plan for NYC. But it doesn’t stop there: antisemitism will plague the city during Mamdani’s tenure.

Mamdani makeover issues

New York City has the largest Jewish population in the country. Mamdani is Muslim and despite his tempered rhetoric during the campaign has appointed two controversial attorneys that may make antisemitism a serious issue going forward. Not only his appointments, but the destruction of every part of Eric Adams’ administration by revoking all of his previous actions.

“The ban that was implemented just last month prohibited mayoral agencies from discriminating against Israel, Israeli citizens, or individuals who are “associated with Israel,” including targeted divestment from bonds and other assets.

Another canceled order instructed the NYPD to reassess its handling of protests at houses of worship, a move that followed a recent anti-Israel demonstration outside a synagogue.

Mamdani’s opening salvo of moves was strongly criticized by Jewish organizations as well as the Israeli Foreign Ministry.” All Israel News

Or the appointment of two attorneys to help advise him: Steven Banks, a “social justice” activist, and Ramzi Kassem, who represented an Al-Qaeda terrorist.

The democratic socialist announced he would appoint crusading activist attorney Steven Banks — just the latest de Blasio administration retread– to head the city’s Law Department as corporation counsel and ex-Biden policy adviser Ramzi Kassem to serve as City Hall’s chief counsel.

While Mamdani lauded the two picks as personnel that understands the law and will “employ it as a critical tool in the fight for working people,” critics sounded the alarm over the pick’s track records. New York Post

Then there’s the promise of free childcare from “taxing the rich.” It’s the best way of driving out job creation from the city.

Mamdani: The cost of childcare will no longer discourage young adults from starting a family because we will deliver universal childcare for the many by taxing the wealthiest few.

Mamdani makeover: promising “collectivism” instead of ‘rugged individualism.’ Such plans have never worked for ordinary people anywhere they’ve been tried.

As far as we can see, the Mamdani makeover is going full force in NYC. Allowed to progress, it will destroy the lives of the city’s middle and lower class, as well as drive out the wealthiest job creators in the city.
