Under President Trump’s orders, the US Military conducted a late-night Special Forces raid in Venezuela that captured Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. The action was not leaked to the Press and went off without a hitch.

The shocker came when the President told reporters at a press conference this morning that the United States would be taking control of Venezuela temporarily until a proper transition takes place. Why? Because Maduro’s henchmen are still present in Venezuela. If we left immediately, chaos would erupt.

Trump framed the role as temporary but necessary, saying the U.S. does not want to allow “somebody else get in” before conditions are stable. He said the goal is peace, liberty and justice for Venezuelans, including those who have fled to the United States and hope to return home.

“We’re going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition,” Trump said. Fox

The left is whining about Congress not being notified; however, many presidents have conducted similar actions: the capture of Noriega in Panama, Obama allowed Clinton to replace Gaddafi with airstrikes in Libya, and Biden ordered strikes in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Somalia.
The people of Venezuela are celebrating their liberation. Our leftist whiners are doing the opposite.

The world is a better place without Nicolas Maduro. Both he and his wife were legally indicted in New York back in 2020. Biden did nothing, Trump acts. Trump also gave Maduro several options in order to avoid this situation, but the dictator refused them all. FAFO, as the saying goes.
